Altered Photography: Jazzing up Colorless Dull Photos

Do-Something-Everyday, May 3, 2016

For today's project, I took a rather dingy photo that I took of the fountain in the Piazza della Rotonda in front of Pantheon in Rome (bottom photo, above) and altered it into this dynamic image (top photo, above).
This was a four-sided fountain with four human fountain heads. However, on the day I took the photo, water was flowing out of only one. I used  mostly Faber-Castell brushes and black and white gel pens to add the effects. In the original photo, there was no water flowing out of the human head. I added water also. Overall, the altered photo turned out impressively fearsome, I think.
